There are many benefits of being involved in athletics. Athletes get to learn more about teamwork, self-confidence, emotional health, commitment and time management.

I am my only favourite opponent.

Roger Federer is my biggest inspiration.

What matters the most during 'Do or Die' situations?
In such situations, I think that I need to play till the end of the match and finish it no matter what.
What are your secret skills?
I have some secret skills which I can only show while I play.
What is your most prized possession?
The prize money of Rs 2000 that I earned from a tournament is my most prized possession.
Who has the greatest influence in your life?
My best friend has a great influence on me. He has always motivated me. He was a great tennis player and I have learned a lot from him.
If you could get a tattoo, what would it be?
I'd like to get a "Maa" (mom) tattoo.
Your short and long-term goals
Short terms - This year I have to crush into top 50 in men's singles in India.
Long terms - I have to play the ATP tournaments and Grand slams very soon.
Your predictions on 'Olympics TOKYO 2020'
I think of myself being there at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. I fantasize about how great it would feel being there. I keep dreaming about seeing myself in the Olympics 2020.

My coach knows me the best.
If you could give one person a present and your budget is unlimited – what will be the present you would give and who will it be?
I will sponsor my 3 friends - Pallav Rousha, Mohit Bhardwaj and Ishaque Eqbal to travel around the world and play good tennis.
What is the scariest experience you have ever had?
I had a bike accident, which was a really scary experience in my life. I will never forget it.

I wish I could teleport.

I cannot live without biryani.

I have played with some good players, but I don't know if they are all celebrities or not.
