Indian No.1 Ankita Raina, who has quietly made some long strides in the last few weeks, knocked out Katrina Zavatska to be one win away from sealing a berth in the main draw of the Australian Open.
The 28 year-old beat Ukrainian player Katrina Zavatska 6-2, 2-6-3 in the second round of the Australian Open Qualifiers, as she looks to seal her spot in the main draw in what will be her first grand slam.
Next she will take on rising star and world No. 183 Serbia's Olga Danilović.
