Young runner Harmilan Bains broke the long-standing national record in the women's 1500m at national Open Athletics Championships on Thursday.
The 19-year-old record of Sunita Rani set in 2002 was finally broken with an official time of 4:05.39s and narrowly missed out on Qualifying mark for World Athletics Championships (4:04.20).
Armed with a fearless and bold attitude, often dubbed as 'The Queen', the 23-year-old with her ability make her a real handful of talents to keep an eye on in Indian Athletics.
